BM&A expands into the United States with the opening of a New York office
BM&A is continuing its international expansion with the announcement of its first US office, in New York. This strategic establishment highlights the group’s determination to support its clients in their transatlantic projects and meet growing demand across the North American market.
An office at the heart of a key market
For several years, BM&A teams have regularly operated in the United States, particularly on audit and transaction services engagements. The creation of a permanent office in New York consolidates this momentum and will allow the firm to offer enhanced support to US subsidiaries of French groups, investment funds, and companies pursuing cross-border acquisitions.
“Our presence in New York directly addresses our clients’ needs. We want to offer them closer proximity and ensure the same high standards and quality for which BM&A is known in France and Europe,” says Alexis Thura, Managing Director responsible for group development, particularly in the US.
A dedicated on-site team
The New York office already relies on a team of four experienced professionals, which will expand to six by the end of 2025. It brings together two partners and two senior managers to deliver tailored support aligned with the firm’s DNA.
The French team will soon be joined by local hires and will continue to work seamlessly with teams based in France and Europe to ensure complete consistency in methods and expertise.
A comprehensive, distinctive offering
In New York, BM&A will deploy its full range of expertise: Transaction Services and Audit, as well as Organisational and Financial Consulting (management control, transformation, reporting, treasury, team support, etc.), providing clients with comprehensive support that blends technical rigour with a practical approach.
In a US market dominated either by major global firms or by niche accounting practices, BM&A stands out as a distinctive alternative: combining high-level expertise, dedicated teams, and a deep understanding of its clients’ operational challenges.
Sustained international momentum
With this New York office, BM&A aims to strengthen its international footprint, which already comprises nine hubs across France, the United Kingdom, Morocco, and now the United States, alongside Italian and Spanish French desks. A rare feat for an independent firm, the group is also expanding through its own network, the BM&A Global Alliance, uniting independent partner firms and associations across 130 countries.
“Opening our New York office is an integral part of our international growth strategy. It reflects our ambition: to stand alongside our clients wherever they need us,” concludes Alexis Thura.
