Communication on Progress: BM&A’s commitments

BM&A is a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, an international initiative that encourages companies to incorporate responsible business principles into their operations and strategy.

BM&A, a participant in the United Nations Global Compact

The United Nations Global Compact invites companies to act in accordance with Ten Principles relating to:

  • human rights;
  • international labour standards;
  • the environment;
  • anti-corruption.

By joining this initiative, participating companies make a voluntary commitment to incorporate these principles into their operations and to report regularly on the progress they have made.

The Communication on Progress

The Communication on Progress, also known as the CoP, is the United Nations Global Compact’s main reporting mechanism. It enables participating companies to report on their actions and progress in relation to the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Until 2021, BM&A published its Communication on Progress as a report available on its website.

Following changes to the reporting process, BM&A now completes the digital questionnaire provided on the United Nations Global Compact platform. This questionnaire covers five areas: governance, human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.

BM&A’s Communications on Progress can therefore now be accessed directly through the firm’s public profile on the United Nations Global Compact website.

An ongoing commitment

Through its Communication on Progress, BM&A reaffirms its commitment to the United Nations Global Compact and reports on the progress made in relation to sustainable development issues.

This approach reflects the firm’s long-term commitments and provides a way to monitor, year after year, the actions taken in support of the United Nations Global Compact’s principles.
